Weekend Courses
The Drawing Academy’s weekend courses are for those who want a preview of what classical drawing is all about.
The weekend courses gives a foretaste of how it is to be a student at the semester course. There are no prerequisites for attending the weekend courses.
The courses focus on classical drawing. Half of the time, the students draw by nude model. We will work both with fast croquis drawings where the students draw from 30 seconds to 2 minutes on each drawing. We will also work on long-term drawings where the students work on the same drawing for several hours. Additionally, there will be drawing lessons without models, but still related to the model studies. The teacher gives individual feedback that matches the drawing abilities of each student.

The next courses are:
8th- 10th of October 2010
5th - 7th of November
The weekend courses start Fridays, from 19 to 21. Saturdays and Sundays we draw from 10 to 16. There is a lunch break at the middle of the day, where it is possible to enjoy your packed lunch or go out and buy lunch in the city. The teaching takes place at The Animation Workshop.
Price
The weekend courses cost DKK 1.500, or app. € 210. The price includes teaching, model salary and standard materials (pencil, paper, charcoal). If you wish to use other materials, you are of course very welcome to bring this yourself.
Accommodation
The Drawing Academy cannot provide accommodation. However, on www.danhostel.dk you can book affordable accommodation.
