Tod Polson
Tod first studied design at Otis/Parsons, then animation at the California Institute of the Arts (Cal/Arts) under scholarship from the Walt Disney Co. At Cal/Arts, Tod fell under the mentorship of legendary animation designer Jules Engel, eventually garnering the “Student Oscar”, and “Annie award” nomination for his short film, “Al Tudi Tuhak”. After graduation, Tod worked with the team of Chuck Jones and Maurice Noble. Tod studied under Maurice developing a variety of projects, including the award winning “Noble Tales” short film series. Tod has worked extensively as a director, designer, and art director, helping develop projects for companies all over the world including: Walt Disney, Warner Bros. and Nickelodeon. Tod is currently producing and directing his new short film: “Escape of the Gingerbread Man” at “The Monk Studio”, Thailand. It is being produced in association with “The Animation Workshop”, and “The West Danish Film Fund.”
