The terrorist attack that never happened

Just after christmas 2010, a group of Swedish men left for Copenhagen, allegedly planning to launch an attack on the newspaper Jyllands-Postens office building as retaliation for the infamous "Mohammed cartoons". Now, they are about to stand trial here in Denmark.

The Animation Workshops "Animation Hub" has recreated the events leading up to their arrest in cooperation with the newspaper Politiken, the animation company Toonfisk and three freelance animators - check out this experiment in "animated news" right here.

The Animation Workshop hosted this year’s edition of Cartoon Digital, the European conference. The theme for the conference was “Transmedia in animation and interactive entertainment” with subjects ranging from legal issues in a transmedia context to inspiring cases from European companies from the animation, computer games and new media businesses.
