TAW at Annecy film festival

Annecy1 Annecy
The time has once again arrived for students and staff from The Animation Workshop to travel to the world's best known festival for animated films - Annecy in France.

The trip to Annecy is a study trip for the 2nd year students. During the festival, the students are exposed to a lot of different genres within animated films. This way they can get inspiration for their own bachelor films which they start producing after the summer holidays.
Furthermore the students are looking after a stand for The Animation Workshop, giving them a great opportunity to network and promote the school.

The festival takes place in beautiful surroundings with both in- and outdoor screenings.
Unfortunately, none of the BAC films from 2009 were chosen for this years Annecy. The Animation Workshop is still represented at the festival with a film from Open Workshop by Uri and Michael Kranot called “White Tape”. We congratulate Uri and Michael with the nomination and hope for the best.

The representatives from The Animation Workshop are looking forward to seeing both new and known faces and we wish for at great festival.
