Models for The Drawing Academy
The Drawing Academy is always looking for new croquis models or models for long-term drawings to pose for our students.
When you pose as a model for croquis drawings, you will stand in a fixed body position for 10 seconds to 5 minutes. It is important to be able to stand in dynamic positions, with contrast in the body with hips and shoulders twisted in different directions. This may include standing, sitting and recumbent positions.
For long-term drawings, it can be necessary to keep a body position for up to 6 hours. However, this body position is normally drawn over several days and the model will be given short breaks every 20th minute. These body positions are often not as dynamic, since it is very demanding for the body to stand still in a dynamic position for more than 10 minutes.
As a model for The Drawing Academy, you will pose in the nude, giving the students the opportunity to learn how to draw the body anatomically correct. Working hours are 9.00-15.00 or 17.30-19.30 on weekdays. We sometimes also need models during the weekends.
The salary is DKK 200 per hour, regardless of the time of day. The model pays for transport, but this can be deducted on the tax return.
