Housing for Bachelor students of Computer Graphic Art
The municipality of Viborg guarantees student housing. This means that as a new arrival you can be sure to get a place of residence in Viborg, while you study at the Bachelor Education in Computer Graphic Art.
What are the options?
Some choose to live in a rented room during their education to become a Bachelor, others choose to share an apartment with student friends – but most of our students and course participants live in the dormitory Camp Logos in the campus area, which is built between 2007 and 2010, and is located right next to the school.
If you want to live in a dormitory, The Animation Workshop offers to help you locate suitable accommodation, and we also establish contact to the rental company.
The Animation Workshop cooperates with the housing association Sct. Jørgen in Viborg about the assignment of dorm rooms and student housing at the following addresses:
The dorm rooms are varied; common for them all is that the rooms are fairly small (from 12-35 m2), there are a number of shared facilities, and those who live around you are students at The Animation Workshop, too.
What does it cost to live in Viborg?
A dorm room in Viborg typically costs between DKK 1600 and 2400 per month, depending on size, and depending on whether you are willing to share a kitchen and bathroom, or you want your own private facilities. In addition you need to add expenses for electricity, water, heating and Internet etc. All in all you should expect to spend between DKK 2.200 and 2.800 per month on housing (regarding the largest of the dorm rooms, Danish students can usually apply for housing subsidy).
What do you need to do?
When you have received conformation about your admission to the bachelor education in Computer Graphic Art, you should orientate yourself in the material of options, which is available on the Internet, and find out what kind of accommodation you are interested in.
