Goutte d´Or

Goutte d’Or begins when the recently dead pirate captain falls in love with the beautiful Queen of the Kingdom of the dead. His desire is overwhelming, but it is no easy task to win the love of the queen, and her live octopus hat does its best to prevent it.

The film is basically a musical love story in a fantasy world, and as such the music is very important. The film is set to music by the French band Les Primitifs du Futur, who likes to refer to their music as “World Musette”.

Goutte d’Or is a stop motion animation with CGI compositing, which means that only the backgrounds has been done with CGI. At present Christophe and his team of animators are in the process of shooting the film.
