Gangster is the second animated short film in JA Film’s vengeance trilogy about sinners whose pasts catch up with them. The first short film of the trilogy was Down the Road, a 15 minute thriller completed in February 2007. Gangster will be an atypical and underplayed animation film focusing on the good story. As opposed to Down the Road, Gangster will move away from the dark and contrast filled world and instead turn up the
heat, the colors and emotions and make use of a more physical style of animation in 3D. There is also room for humor despite the serious theme of revenge.

Rune Christensen is a commercial illustrator by training, and Anders Berthelsen is educated from The Animation Workshop.Anders Berthelsen and Rune Christensen are now the owners of the production company JA Film, founded in 2001, which produces everything from commercials and music videos to fiction, web content and documentaries.
