Films at Festivals
Every year, the Animation Workshop is represented at many animation festivals around the world.
Both the animated short films made by the graduating bachelors of character animation and the works made by artists connected to Open Workshop receive a lot of attention around the world. At both the smaller, more unknown and the highly prestigious animation festivals, the animations from The Animation Workshop are regarded as high quality works.
Works originating from The Animation Workshop have managed to be accepted to the prestigious Annecy Animation Festival in France, the SIGGRAPH festivals, KLIK! in Amsterdam, Sicarm in Estonia, Hamburg Animation Festival in Germany, etc.
Many of the short films have furthermore won prizes or professional special mention.
