Educational development
One of the most important purposes of the Centre for Animation is the development new educations which match the demands and wishes of the international animation industry.
This work has in lead to the establishing of the line of study Computer Graphic Artist in 2008 and Visuel Hf in 2009.
In cooperation with the social education in Viborg (Pædagoguddannelsen in Viborg/VIA University College) the knowledge centre has established the international semester Animation as a Learning Tool.
The department Professional Training develops and provides courses for professional animators from all over Europe.
Centre for Animation has several new educations in the pipeline. Among others Master of Science in Animation and Visualization and an Bachelor’s degree in comic book creation.
