Blinded by the sun is the story about Ivan, a young boy, determined to win a local sunflower contest. He works together with his best and only true friend, Josefine. Along the way he becomes overwhelmed by his growing feelings towards her, but he's unsure about how to handle them. However, during their work together, in trying to grow the winning sunflower, he discovers that she harbours a dark secret. Apparently, Josefine has made separate plans to claim the prize as her own. Blinded by a rising jealousy and a desire to take his revenge upon her, he makes a choice that ultimately sees the ruin of all his dreams and destroys everything the friends have built together...
