Danish applicants
Danish applicants will be invited to an individual drawing test (1 hour) and an interview (½ hour). Each applicant can bring their previous work to the interview.

There are no prerequisites for applying to The Drawing Academy’s courses so the purpose of the interview is to give the Drawing Academy a sense of the ability, commitment, responsibility and self-discipline of each applicant. The important thing is not to be good at drawing, but to be motivated and willing to learn. The test helps teachers at The Drawing Academy to adjust the teaching methods so that they match the abilities of each student.

The interviews and drawing tests will take place after the application deadline. If an applicant is prevented from taking part in the test and interview at that point, alternative test and interview dates should be included in the application.

EU students
Applicants from outside Denmark will take the interview online and send their work online or via mail.

NOTE: Students from outside the European Union are allowed to stay in Denmark for no more than 90 days, as their tourist visa expires after this period. As a result, they will follow the course for 3 months and pay 24,000 DKK, approximately 3,200 Euros.
