Application and admission
There are no prerequisites for applying to The Drawing Academy’s courses.
The semester course in classical drawing Autumn 2010 is:
9th of August - 17th of December
Spring 2011: 17th of January - 3rd of June
Autumn 2011: 8th of August - 16th of December
You apply for the classical drawing semester by downloading and filling in the application form (pdf).
You send the application form in two copies either by email to Caroline Henriques or by regular mail to:

All applicants will be invited to an individual drawing test (1 hour) and an interview (½ hour). This is done in order to give The Drawing Academy an understanding of the ability, commitment, responsibility and self-discipline of each applicant. It is not a matter of being good at drawing but more about being motivated and wanting to learn how to draw. The test helps the teachers at The Drawing Academy adjust the teaching so that it matches the abilities of each student.
Each applicant can bring their own portfolio with previous work to the interview. If an applicant is prevented from attending the test and interview, alternative test and interview dates must be added in the application.

The price for attending the semester course at The Drawing Academy is DKK 34.000, or app. € 4600. This includes teaching and materials. The semester course does not make you eligible for Danish educational support (S.U).
Housing
When you have been admitted to the semester course at The Drawing Academy, we will help you find accommodation. If you prefer to find accommodation on your own, this is of course also possible.
We cannot guarantee that your preferred type of accommodation is available, since we have a large amount of students who need a place to live at the same time. However, we will of course do our very best to help you.
